Liaise with local officials including municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, local NGOs and INGOs, project partners, key community leaders, businesses, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure successful deliverables. Ensure all activities are gender sensitive and include youth participation of at least 50% women. Assist with monitoring and evaluation accountability and learning systems for optimal employment and self-employment development and support. Ensure that all business and employment support-related interventions are in compliance with international norms and standards, national laws and policies, technical standards and organizational policies. Assist in the development of strategies to meet the Program’s job creation targets through market-oriented solutions. Provide training for 30 youth on preparing for employment success and small business development. Coordinate assistance to youth including business and vocational training, work-based learning, in-kind grants and linkages to existing business owners, employers and mentors. Oversee selection of vocational training entities and delivery of vocational training. Support finalization of curricula for business and soft skills training. Project Coordination for Employment and Self Employment Support Contribute to the development and implementation of new strategies and activities to enhance livelihoods in line with the identified needs of program participants. Contribute to quarterly reports and other ad hoc reports to meet donor and internal requirements. Monitor adherence to grant agreement and RI policies and procedures and relevant external rules and regulations. Support monitoring and evaluation efforts to document project outputs, outcomes, and impact to inform donor and other internal reporting. 
Provide day-to-day support and coordination, including administrative, financial and logistical support. Lead community mobilization and outreach activities among RI Education alumni, their families and the community. Assist in building relationships with camp and out of camp-based employers to introduce the project and facilitate access to information related to project activities and scope. Facilitate access for Market Assessment consultant to conduct market assessment and support ongoing collection of data. Support the start-up and implementation of project activities to meet project deliverables based on timeline and scope agreed with the donor. 
The position will be based in Zaatari camp. This program aims to strengthen employment and business opportunities through increased access to market driven vocational training, business support, small grants and improved networks through work-based job training.
The RI Livelihoods Coordinator will lead the pilot livelihoods programming in Zaatari Camp for 30 graduates of RI’s educational programming. Often, RI is the only organization providing assistance to highly vulnerable communities.
